Current prospecting and exploration activities are targeting potential gold, nickel and Rare Earths mineralisation in the Mid West region of Western Australia.
Gold is a primary targets for Rusty Dog Resources (RDR) as the Primrose Fault, associated with significant gold finds in the region runs through one of the main RDR tenements.
The work undertaken to date, including Geochem sampling program with Mobile Metal Ions (MMI) assays, is highly encouraging showing a number of anomalies with prospective mineralisation for gold, nickel and REE’s.
The MMI sampling program has to date identified 9 anomalies, including 5 gold and 4 nickel anomaly plus a a large area of potential rare earth element mineralisation.
The peak MMI Gold (Au) value to date is 30 ppb. The peak Nickel (Ni) value to date is 15,400 ppb with the 2 large anomalies extending for approximately 350m x 500m; however the is also a large spread of elevated Nickel indicators across the 2 main tenements.
A new tenement (P59/2250) has been added to the RDR group to enable further investigation of REE’s in the North Eastern sector of P59/2112.
The peak Lanthanum (La) value to date is 8240 ppb with 69% of samples to date providing greater than 1000 ppb values.
MMI Assay also highlighted Neodymium (Nd) with 85% of samples to date providing greater than 1000 ppb values and peak value of 7000 ppb.
Current MMI assay results have been aligned with historical geological data and support current findings.
